IPTV Setup & Installation

First-Time IPTV Setup Checklist

A tick-list for your first IPTV setup: confirm the device, update it, free storage, test the network, install the app, sign in and test properly.

Work through this list in order and most first-time problems never appear.

Before you subscribe

  • Note your device model and system version.
  • Ask support to confirm it is suitable.
  • Request a trial.

Prepare the device

  • Install system updates and restart.
  • Free at least a couple of gigabytes of storage.
  • Set the correct time and date automatically.

Prepare the network

  • Use a cable if you can.
  • Otherwise place the router in a central, open spot.
  • Pause large downloads during testing.

Install and sign in

Install the app from the official store, then enter the details we send, copying and pasting where possible.

Why testing at the right time matters

A service that runs well at lunchtime may struggle at eight in the evening, when your area and your own household are busiest. Test at that time, and test the content you actually watch rather than a single channel.

Write down what you see. If a channel pauses, note the channel and the time. Specific notes turn a vague complaint into a problem that support can investigate.

After a successful test

Set up favourites, tidy the categories and keep your details somewhere private. Then pick your plan length with 1, 3, 6 or 12 Months? How to Pick an IPTV Subscription Length in mind.

Test properly

Watch live channels for at least an hour during the evening. Open the guide, change channels repeatedly and check sound. If anything is wrong, note it and message support. See IPTV Free Trial: What to Test Before You Subscribe.
