Using Favourites and Categories in IPTV Apps
Make a long channel list manageable: use favourites, category filters, search and hidden groups in your IPTV player for faster daily viewing.
A long list is only helpful if you can find what you want in seconds. A few minutes of tidying pays off every day.
Start with favourites
Mark the twenty or so channels you use most. Put them at the top so the remote needs fewer presses.
Use categories
Most apps group channels by type. Hide groups you never use so that scrolling is shorter.
Use search
Learn how search works in your app. On some remotes, voice search is quicker than typing.
Make a one page plan
Write down the channels you open every week and group them: news, sport, films, family. Put the most used at the top. This takes ten minutes and saves time every evening.
If more than one person uses the app, create separate favourites lists if the app allows it, so nobody has to scroll through someone else's choices.
Keep it stable
