Canadian Time Zones and Live TV Guides
Canada spans several time zones. Learn how to set your device correctly so that programme guides and live event start times line up.
Canada has six main time zones, so live guide times are easy to misread if your device is set wrongly.
Set automatic time
Turn on automatic date and time on your device and make sure it is set to your province's zone.
Reading the guide
Guides may show times in your device's zone or the source's zone. Compare a known programme to check.
Live events

Travelling across Canada
If you travel with a tablet or phone, the device may change its time zone automatically. The guide on the app may then shift. This is normal and fixes itself when the time zone is correct.
For events in other time zones, convert before you plan, and set a calendar reminder in your local time.
If times look wrong
Refresh the guide, restart the app and contact support with your location and the channel.
